    Get the LED screen?

    Also, if you place the order, could you please post the estimated shipping date here? I'm very much interested in getting an M1330, but I absolutely *need* to have it before 14 Aug. I haven't seen anyone from Sweden post their estimated delivery date yet...

    I got almost the EXACT same thing... so maybe that's reassuring because I did like 10 hours of research on every component before I bought it. The only thing I don't understand is why you didn't get the LED backlit screen. I know it's a costly upgrade, but it's soooo thin and makes the notebook lighter. It also uses less battery life!

    The option for the LED backlit display is recommended. It is thinner and brighter and/or uses less power.

    If you are not into 3D games, downgrade to the Intel X3100 GPU. First check what they charge for the upgrade from the X3100 to the 8400M and make sure you are credited with this amount if you downgrade. I also got an extra 6 cell battery. It costs much less to add an extra battery now than to buy another one in the future.

    I presume that Dells for Sweden come from the factory in Ireland. I (in UK) ordered the M1330 today and was given a delivery date of 20th July.

    I orderded Dell 1330 July1st..promised to get it in 10 days...now after many excuses a new one with each phone call, I will be lucky to get it Aug 15..45 days later...anybody else having the same experience?

    Read the whole entire m1330 thread (the big huge one)... It's filled with people with similar stories. I ordered July 1st as well... still in the BUILD stage. :(
