    Dell 1330 before end of august?

    I'm going off to college on the 19th and was wondering if there is anyway to speed up the delay. If I ordered within the next few days could I get it by then or do they just have too many orders?

    3 weeks. I doubt they could ship it before the 19th if you are in the USA. Other countries are a different issue. Here in India, they are shipping on the 30th, for laptops ordered now.

    I don't think they'd be able to. I believe the estimated ship date is somewhere in early or mid September at this point. I ordered on July 4th and my estimated ship date is August 22nd. I'm hoping that it'll be sooner than that but, unfortunately, there's no guarantee and nothing Dell can really do, aside from giving you next day shipping.

    Try ordering with the CCFL LCD... it should cut your order time substantially. Otherwise, if you want the LED LCD, then you can't do much about it :-(.

    I ordered mine on July 17th, and the "estimated" ship date for me is in September. That is truly horrid for Dell to give me that estimate. I think a majority of the orders will be shipped by the end of July or early August.

    Dell could have "tried" a lot better in figuring out an accurate ship date.

    If you order without the LED, bluetooth and 9 cell, you should get a quick date as these cause delays...

    Oh and dont get the tuner=45 day delay.


    BUT REMEMBER...not even one has been delivered yet.

    What makes you think the estimated ship date they gave you is inaccurate? Why would you be mad with them for giving you a date, just because you don't believe it? What makes you "think" a majority of the orders will be shipped by the end of July or early August?
