Hey, I'm not really clear about which graphics card to get? is there anyone out there that can explain them to me? I'm looking to play Sims 2, F.E.A.R. and possibly Doom 3.
Dell Canada (not sure about USA, frankly im to lazy to go look! lol) is offering 256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory and 128MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1300 HyperMemory

Will one run faster and smoother then the other? One is being offered for 100 bucks while the other one for 150. Is it worth it to pay the extra 50 bucks for double the ram in the graphics card? Please help! i'm in desperate need of a notebook and ive been waiting for a dedicated graphics card! :)

Yes and yes. Take a look at this: http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=2757

Hypermemory essentially is borrowing MBs from your RAM (Nvidia uses Turbocache) If you're going to be playing Doom 3 at mid to high screen settings X1300 will strain or may not even play but X1400 should be able to manage.
