    I got my $75+tax ($81.19) back today.

I contacted the CSR using Chat. The first person I interacted over chat was very stubborn and refused to give the refund. I then had a chat again (after a min!) with another guy, and he was cool and issued the credit back to me. (got a confirmation email today about the adjustment too!)

Also, I noticed that the CSR did not really check the new coupon code.. or the price drop amount. He just went by my words ...! (i think!) ---> so, I think upto a reasonable limit, they dont mind giving your money back!..... :) -- However, this is entirely my understanding.

see mine was already on the way so that's why they didn't cancel the order....I think anyway, but I had to do what you did last sunday. this week I saved $200 added to that $425 if you throw in that free router I got today because of a delivery error by DHL ;)

I believe the coupon has expired already? Tried it out on Dell.com, and it says that it has expired.

I contacted dell but they would refuse to credit but they did say that if u have a case reference number for which the credit was done then they cannot refuse. Is it possible you could send me or post the Case number or the case reference number, it would be great.

They refused me the 75 dollar credit at first too. As soon as I said I'll just cancel and reorder with the 500 coupon they offered me the credit ONLY if I do not cancel. I was given a case number and told to casll back AFTER I received delivery of laptop, then credit would be applied.

My 1520 just arrived today and Dell's online chat was unable to process the $75 credit in my case. However, they referred me to a "sales return specialist" @ 1-800-624-9897 and I was able to obtain the $75 credit + an additional $25 credit saying the same as Mac5217 referenced above. The return specialist issue me a case # and said it would take Dell up to 5-8 days to process the request and another 5-8 days for the bank to issue the credit in the amount of $100 :)
