Delivery time Dell Xps 13

Hi everyone! It's the first time writing in this forum, and for the first thing i'd like to thank you, because the forum is very well built, and useful!
I would ask to the owners of Dell xps 13, or 15, the delivery time; i bought it on last saturday, and the arrival date was 03-1-2016. Today, i've checked on the Dell's website, and it says that my laptop has been shipped with DHL; then on the DHL website, under the facilities " tracks order", i'va seen that the arrival date is changed: now it's 03-03-2016.
It seems me a very long time, and i would ask your experience with the delivery of your laptop.

I cancelled my Dell XPS 15 order as website said 3-7 says and received delivery date of over 2 weeks. Apparently depends on what spec you order but many are assembled in China then shipped to a local shipping agent and delivery is 3-7 days when it reaches them. So frustrating and a little misleading. Good luck.

 

Some are CTO, some are prebuilt

It says so explicitly on the config page, along with etas

If you want something immediately, look at stores like b&h/adorama/Microsoft store/microcenter. They usually have prebuilt models in stock (skip any "preorder" configs)

I received my laptop one week ago, it takes about 2 weeks to arrive in my home. I just want to give that information to everyone who are thinking to buy this laptop.
