    i ordered my laptop August 08 and production date says August 11...im in Canada and it says Estimated Delivery Date is:8/19/08

    when should i realistically expect to get my computer?

    I just ordered a Dell 1525 with a 9 cell battery, some peripherals, and some upgrades and received the laptop two days before the actual shipment date, so that's apx. 6-8 days before I would have received it. I was very surprised, especially with the 9 cell battery. I would say expect to receive it on the day that it is said to ship. Good luck

    I ordered on 8/8 too. My ESD is 8/18/08 so I should expect 8/18 hopefully. I hope you receive yours close to 8/19 mate.
