I did some searches and I couldn't really find my answer. I want to delete MediaDirect from my HD because I don't use it. Can I just go into Computer Management, right click on the MediaDirect partition, and choose to "delete logical drive"? Is it that simple? I just need more free space on my C drive.

Well I deleted the partition, actually I formated my whole HDD and deleted all partitions so I could start fresh, my laptop didn't explode after that so I don't see a reason why you can't delete it. :)

i'd deleted it as well, only to re-install it afterwards, i hate having an unused homebutton on my m1330 and the Cyberlink software actually works quite well.

I mainly use it for my kids to quickly watch a DVD when in a hotelroom.

Where can you find the options for those buttons? I'd like to use Cyberlink too for my homebutton but I can't find the options to configure that...

Actually what he meant was that the MediaDirect software is from Cyberlink ;)

There is a thread where someone has figured out a way to use the button as a customizable Macro key using "AutoHotkey".

I've got mine setup to load my browser (after I've booted into Vista of course).

I ended up just deleting the MD partition and everything is fine. Now I'm gonna configure my MD button!
