    Yes my Red Inspiron 1520 was delayed. I ordered July 1, est shipping July 18, got it July 25.

    But it looks sooooooooooooooooooo good.

    I got red also. There is supposed to be no delay, but there are people who ordered on the same day as I did and are getting theirs boxed. Of course, they don't have red. Makes me wonder if they do have a delay on red but are not broadcasting it.

    I'm pretty sure dell would of gave all the red owners an e-mail saying that the color has been delayed. They wouldn't want to make people mad at them and lose future business with the customer.

    bull...dell won't even notify u that ur order is delayed till the day that the order is suppose to be shipped or after. Ask around and see how many people that ordered midnight blue got a noticed for being delayed.

    Well mine is due to ship on thursday and is still in "The Build Stage"... Cant wait!!! And I am soooo bad, I check the phone status like 3-4 times a day now that it is so close to Aug 2!!!!

    Like minj said, expect absolutely no notification of a delay. I have a midnight blue order that is going to be delayed for a second time tomorrow, and I received no notification the first time. I had to contact a Dell rep and even still, after a week of conversations, I have not had a straight answer for my delay but I know its from the color.

    i ordered the red one on 7/17 and expected shipping date was 8/3 now they said its delayed to 8/28

    i wasnt notified for 3 days after 8/3 either. i had to talk to a rep to find out.
