    Delay question

    I just ordered my XPS 1330 today, with an LED screen. When I selected the LED screen option, it said "may cause 9 day delay". My ESD is october 15th, just wondering, does the ESD include the possible 9 day delay?

    Actually no... If you order a system and get a new lead time (delay), the proper method is to add the 9 days to your ESD. In many cases a new ESD will soon follow.

    Be aware however that some CSRs will add leads on top of one another which is totally incorrect. Forexample if yuou get a 9 day lead time for a LED and a 2 day lead time for the colour you chose, it still calculates as 9 days.

    Having said that, most systems still arrive prior to their original ESD.
