    ok is thier any harm in me declocking my GPU to the lowest setting it can go ? my specs r below ...

    www.silentpcreview.com is that site to some extent. People who want quiet computers often underclock/undervolt slightly and are able to cut their power and cooling requirements significantly. You can see how this would be useful in the portable world as well.

    hehehe i wanted to declock to see if i save any battery life but thier was hardly any difference even when i declocked it to the absolute lowest ...

    still same battery life[ ;)]

    I noticed something interesting with my notebook (different video card though.) It has auto clock adjustment for the graphics to save battery, but it always runs at full if you plug an external monitor in. So with the LCD OFF and closed, and a projector or external monitor plugged in, the bettery life is LOWER. I wish I could keep the clock speed down for presentations. I could then get 5 hours with the 6-cell battery with the display closed.
