OK, not really. I was planning on holding off on buying an i9400, but it seems Dell Canada actually had the balls to make a good deal on one. I absolutely despise my worthless Asus A8Js, so I really want to switch ASAP. I was going to wait for an 8800 series GPU, but I don't think I want to wait for Q3.

    Is this a good deal?

Price: $1625 US DOLLARS shipped, tax in. Canadians, if you're wondering why you can't reproduce this deal, this is including my corporate discounts.

Nice deal for what you are getting! The only thing I might change would be the warranty...can you get "Next "Day" instead of Depot. I had depot with Toshiba years ago...had to box up the machine and send it off for repairs. With Dell's next day...they come to you

Agreed, next day is great, if you're *at all* depending on the laptop. Other than that, nice machine.

The problem with next day is my corporate discount only offers discounts on 3 year RTD if I want an extended warranty. Oh well.

Whats the original DELL pricing? Seem to be like 35% off? If that is the case. Thats pretty good pricing.

Dell Canada does not really have the coupons. This is 12% off thanks to my corporate discount.

Wow, I am looking to buy the same thing, minus:
    - uxga
    - warranty

and the price is around 1950$CAN taxes included. Nice.

I changed my mind, not getting the warranty. It'll be $1844 CAD all in without it.

I used to have an I9300, and I LOVED the screen. The real estate was incredible. It was no strain at all, even though I do not have great eyes.
