This afternoon, my roughly three year old Inspiron 8200 started to die. First, an issue occured where if I allowed the bottom case to flex when I picked it up or set it down that the system would shut off instantly. A few minutes later I noticed that it was no longer accepting external power. The two batteries are rather old and not in good shape, so I shut down the system and removed the batteries. I had hoped to let the system CMOS reset, and if that didn't help, to save my power so that I could copy essential files when I got back to my desktop. A little while later, I went to try and test the machine with an alternate power cord, and it would not start at all, not even on battery power. At this point, it is completely unresponsive to anything.

Does anyone have any help or suggestions?
