    Check my Sig. for all specs, order date, etc.

    Finally, at least for my lappy, dell is getting there act together and speeding up the process...

    Yeah, you haven't waited long at all. I waited 2 weeks longer and mine hasn't even changed stages yet. This only proves that their preparing this in a random order.

    It's hard to be happy for all those people who get their notebooks from Dell so quickly.

    I know I'm going to be happier with an MBP, but I should have gotten it A MONTH AGO, and I would have if Dell had told me they were going to delay me till September. Now I'm 5 days into a cancellation waiting for my money back before I can get a different system.

    So in short... I hate you. Or rather I hate Dell - but you're here and Dell reps aren't.

    I know i have not waited very long, and that is why i thought maybe they were getting things straight. Don't hate on me cause my laptop is moving along in the warehouse (australian kid)...you probably ordered parts that said they may delay your shipment & in turn have gone on backorder due to the mass amount of orders.

    As other people have mentioned... Those delays weren't stated at the beginning of July. Like I said in my post, I actually hate Dell, but I'm currently taking it out on you.

    And I'm not a kid.

    Edit: Congrats. So I don't sound so bitter. I probably wouldn't be annoyed if they didn't take a week to refund a credit card, which any retailer can do in less than a minute.

    I'm glad you're getting your laptop so quickly. Wish I was that lucky. When I ordered on 7/18, I didn't see anything in any of my components that said that it would delay my ship date.
