For some reason one of my battery clipper thing has broken off (or the thing that holds the battery in place). Battery still works fine, getting 4 hour of battery out of it (6 cell). I just worry that there is too much stress on the other one that could cause it to break off.

I'm under Limited Warrenty (almost 1 year left, bought this laptop in febuary). I wrote an email to dell, no respond. Forum posting on dell, don't even know where it's gone to.

Yet their warrenty states that they will fix broken battery part. One more thing. There is a slight dent in the corner of my screen, on the back side (side where the dell logo is printed, not the actual screen). I can't take a pic right now cause I can't find my camera. Sorry for the crappy webcam image

You said you are on your initial 1 year warranty right?

Give Dell a call and they'll swap it no questions as they have a 1 year warranty on batteries (irrespective of the warranty length on the computer if longer than 1 year).

Yeah, they should fix the battery for you, not a problem.
