My new m1530 should be coming next week, so Im getting all ready by getting everything I need.

So basically, I have a 22in viewsonic monitor im going to be hooking up the laptop to. The monitor has a DVI connection that just goes right to the back of my computer. My question is, will the following converter make my dvi cable from my 22in monitor work with the hdmi port on my m1530?

A HDMI to DVI cable will do you just fine. They are only a few bux. I use that with my m1330 and Dell 22" LCD.

There is only one worry that the m1330's HDMI port would get worn out from frequent connect/disconnects. The contact look fragile.
