I just purchased a Dell 9300 and had a question about its DVI-D port. I know this is primarily used to hook up to a monitor, but can I connect this to my HDTV television? I want to display my digital pictures on the tv and was wondering if this was the best way.

Yes, but it depends if your HDTV accept DVI input.

DVI-D meaning that this port cannot be convert to Analog via adapter. But I9300 has both Analog and Digital and S Video... so I think if you can't use DVI to your HDTV, you can somehow connect via S Video with image deterioration....
