If I buy the new latitude 630 and I don't feel like spending the money to get a DVDRW installed could I install one from a previous model. I have an inspiron 600m and it has a dvd burner on it, and I mean 50 dollars is 50 dollars and if I can save it I'd be willing to do so, I don't care about the looks, I mean I'm buying a business dell afterall, looks are meaningless.

Does anyone know if I could do this?

I think it would work...the parts look the same, and I don't think Dell has changed the modular design at all in the last like 5 years.
