This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     DVD access when opening lid

    I just got a new Studio 1558 yesterday. I noticed that whenever I open the lid, it does a DVD drive access. Why does it do that, and how do I make it stop?
