    If you often read CDs in a DVD drive or burn CDs in a DVD-RW drive ,
    does it decrease the durability of your DVD drive?
    (worn out the optic of the DVD drive)

    Absolutly not :)

    Just be gentle with the tray and keep little fingers away from the lens.
