on my studio 1555, i noticed there is a ton of CPU usage when watching DVDs using PowerDVD DX that comes with the computer. it's consistently between 50-60% on both cores (P8600).

i was wondering if you guys are having this same issue, and if there is a way to enable hardware acceleration (i have the 512 mb ati 4570). i looked through all the menus in PowerDVD DX that comes with the computer which there aren't many of and couldn't find anything about enabling hardware acceleration or anything like that.

for those of you who also have the blu-ray drive, does PowerDVD automatically offload the BD decode from the CPU to the GPU? unfortunately i don't have a BD with me right now to test out CPU usage or fps while watching a blu-ray. thanks in advance
