How long does it usually take for the package to get out of the "shipment acknowledged" stage? Is it more than likely my package is already being driven up to NJ, just the status by DHL is not commonly changed until delivered?

Also, do they allow the credit card holder of whatever ordered to pick up a package from a local hub?

From my experience with the accessories that were just shipped to me this week by Dell, I think your package is in route right now even if the DHL tracking site does not say so. Especially since we are heading into the weekend, it may be a little slower to update. I had one package that showed nothing until it was delivered to my door and then all of a sudden there was this long history of check points that showed up. The other package was updated promptly. I suppose it depends on who is out to deliver it and how efficient they are at their job. They are almost as bad as the united states postal service when it comes to tracking packages. I wish Dell would have stuck with UPS.

As for your other question, I don't know.

Thanks !! I just found it it arrived in PA a couple of hours ago.

What sucks is I had my package shipped to my mom's business because I live in a condo and didn't want there to be a mix-up or DHL saying we weren't home. She doesn't work on Mondays, and that is when it will arrive(what are the chances, right? :p). The business is 40 minutes. I guess Tuesday will be the big day unless I decide to drive 40 minutes away to pick it up which I just might.

Unless for some weird reason DHL decides to stop by the business and drop it off. It is in a busy urban area which is why I think there is a possibility.

I think driving to your Mom's business to pick it up might be worth the 40 minute drive. ;)

I just drove to DHL the day mine was supposed to be delivered and picked it up. Apparently there is a rule that there has to be atleast 1 delivery attempt but apparently the people at the place didn't care...
