I ordered my Dell Vostro 1500, with a 3-5 day ground delivery. Dell shipped on time (surprisingly) last Thursday, with a worst-case deliver date of this Wed. The computer arrived at the final stop before delivery at the DHL facility on Monday morning at 9, but because it wasn't intended to be delivered until Wed, they didn't deliver it on Monday or Tues, but left in the warehouse to go out on Wed. So frustrating, but only one more day, I guess.

i think it also depends on the workload and priority too
i mean if they have a huge amount of delivery items in queue before yours then they cant deliver yours yet and if others have opted for higher priority than 3-5 days then they have to go through first. yours, as long as it is delivered on the alotted day, is still within their estimates. -
Yeah, mine just came via DHL and they delivered it the next day after they received it. I was quite happy.

I called DHL to hold my M1330 at the main hub......to prevent any mishaps....in the long run.

Now it is Thursday, one day after the expected arrival, and no Vostro yet. grrr.

Yeah, D-H-HELL sucks. I have only had good luck with FedEx....

Lately I've had good luck with UPS.
Purolator has really blown monkey balls lately! -

Anyone know how DHL handles their routes (in terms of ownership)?
At FedEx each driver owns their route, so you could have a garbage delivery guy, but someone two blocks over could have an amazing driver. it all depends on where you live in a particular city.
UPS owns all the routes and drivers adhere to company standards. -
DHL has shipped my Dells on time and in perfect condition every time.
DHL delivery is worthless
