So they sent me a replacement battery for my 1400 to stop the wiggling of the battery. The first one was 'delivered' yesterday, but stupid DHL delivered it to the wrong place (showed delivered online, but I didnt have it). Called Dell and they said "don't worry" and sent me another one. Today, i get BOTH batteries.

So, of course it doesnt actually fix the problem, but what do I do with the first battery that was 'lost' for the day?

Ended up selling the other laptop and reordering with a 8400GS and a 6 cell battery. Figure I'll use the 9 cell and sell the 6 cell for like 40 bucks or so.

well check your Dell account first to see if they actually charged you for that. if you see two 72.03 charges, than obviously return that battery too.

They don't actually charge you. It's an internal thing.

for OS thats an internal thing, they didn't really charge you. But for replacement parts that charge is real, if you don't return the part within 15 days that internal charge becomes a real charge.

So I guess the question is since the first one was 'lost' and I said I never got it (true at the time), will I still be charged? If so, its not horrible - its only $42.50 (still cheaper then buying from the small business site anyways)
