I'm looking to get the E1705, and so was wondering about the warranty and what they include/disclude? completecare worth much?

anyone have/had/knows someone with completecare, and when they had a problem, Dell didn't help? I mean, so that means anyone can buy completecare, throw it to the floor, and say the dog did it..or something like that, but you get the point..does it really cover everything? and what payment/surcharge for activation of the warranty?

can someone explain how lojack is used and what they can do to find the NB?
    any opinions appreciated..

CompleteCare is complete, like you say, but they hope people don't have the time to abuse it.

LoJack traces your computer through an internet connection. The way I understand it, if the stealer is smart enough to not boot up the computer, then your notebook is still untraceable. Dell is offering the service for free for a year anyway, though.

Do you know anyone who has/had/used completecare warranty? and is this really the top warranty you can get from them..maybe it's just a waste to get it all together?

And with Lojack, that's quite dumb-you have to have an internet connection and be connected to it to help them find it...why doesn't it work like the Lojack in cars..it doesn't need to do anything for them to find..quite retarded..I keep my laptop with me all the time, so I think Lojack is a waste...
but only because it needs to be connected to the internet...otherwise it looks good..so is this software based only? no hardware? and how much does it cost after the 1st year?
