    DELL is BSing.... No Gift Cards for 1420... wtf

    I just called Dell and the rep told me that the Gift Cards are not for the 1420 systems. I'm pi$$ed. :mad:

    So to the people who ordered a 1420, don't wait up on the gift card you thought you were gonna get.

    I think pretty much all Inspiron's and XPS get it.. complain until they send it..

    It has nothing to do with what system you ordered, rather the purchase price (ex: all systems the were $949 got a $50 gc, $999 got $100, etc).

    Yeah, if it was in your cart at checkout you'll get it (eventually) :)

    I know what you guys are talking about. But the rep told me it doesn't matter if the coupon/promo shows up in the cart or not, he said it was only for the xps and 1720's.

    He even put me on hold to check with the manager or something... I hope he's mentally retarded and told me the wrong info.

    Even if you don't get it, you could probably call and ***** like crazy that it was in your cart and end up with twice the amount credited than the gc was worth.

    If it's in your cart, like it was in mine, then you'll get it. I'm still waiting for mine, however. But I did chat with a Dell representative about the status of my gift card, and she told me that it would arrive in at least 4 weeks.

    For phone orders.. it doesn't really show up anywhere but I am assured by the salesperson that it's still eligible...

    have to wait 4-6 weeks to find out...

    Yah its true...Loooks like dell have stopped giving Promo Cards on system that already having Instant savings. If you configure a 1420 with base brice and no instant saving gigt card appears in the cart.

    dell s***s bigtime...no good deals and now no coupons + no free earbuds on webcam+ no black model(1420)

    If you wait a little bit there will be plenty of coupons (unless they decide to cut them all off for xmas).

    Dell usually has deals 10 months out of the year.....
