    Ok,

So I just saw Ironman for the third time (trust me, I only wanted to see it once, but I was dragged to the other two...but it's not a bad movie). Anyway, in the scene where Obadiah Stain is in the tent with the warlord, you can see a Dell laptop in the background running XP on it. By the screen, it looks to be a 1330 or 1530. However, if you look at the bottom of the screen bezel, it looks like it has the Inspiron style bezel with the Ram Clamshell on it (if you don't know what I'm talking about, look at a 1520). Does anyone know what it is? Perhaps one of the new laptops Dell is releasing?

Also, when Pepper Potts is in Obadiah Stain's office copying the files, we see a cool looking Dell. It's like nothing I've seen before, I don't believe. You guys don't think it was the M 2010 (the big 20 incher that was unveiled couple years back with the handle on it), do you? Doesn't look like it to me. Also, one could say the XPS One, but I highly doubt it since the keyboard was totally different, plus the computer in the movie had a two pronged base, whereas the XPS One has only one prong/leg for the base of the screen. Do you know what computer that was? Perhaps a prototype?

    Thanks for your help.

The one in Tony Stark's office (Not Stane) looks to be a M2010. I remembered thinking why would Tony Stark use such crappy technology? The M2010 isn't bad, but it's definitely not state of the art.

I thought the other one was a XPS 1530. It looked a little too large to be a 1330.

I generally laugh when I see product placements like those. Transformers sure brightened up my day.

Haha...no kidding. Chevy and Cadillac and a whole bunch of others had huge product placements in Transformers....

My personal favorite is the Mountain Dew soda machine that terrorizes people. Either that or the transforming Xbox 360.

While we're on the topic of Ironman, does anyone know the name of the song that plays in the background when Tony Stark does his initial test flight. It's the flight where he sees the kid drop his ice cream on the Ferris Wheel, and also where he tries to break the SR-71 blackbird record.

    Thnx.

Ironman had a ton of product placements. All of these new feature films do. I'd be interested to know what is included just because they need a certain product, compared to being paid for inclusion.

In Ironman: LG (cell phone), Audi R8, Burger King, Dell, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Wired, Bulgari (watch),

    mfmbcpman,

You forgot Apple's nice product placement of their iMac screens. It's in shots of Tony from behind the screens, and perfectly shows "iMac" on it....HAHA....

The Audi R8 was a welcome placement in my book....it's gorgeous!!!

Theres also a Nintendo Wii in the movie. It's in a scene where they are panning away from a widescreen television in Tony's house.

Yup I noticed that the featured cars were an R8, S5 and Q7 (though he did have a roller at the start) Reminded me of iRobot where all the cars were variations of audi's.

I noticed the m2010 and the dell/apple cinema displays and the wii as well. :p

That was awesome! I love the part where he's like, "This is like steering honey into Keira Knightley" (at 3:40). Have you seen this Top Gear episode:

    The G-Wiz vs the Table:

Watch from 47 seconds and onwards.
