I want a good laptop most for Internet , gaming and some dvd.
First i though about Hp Zd7000 serie , i also been thinking about Toshiba quosmio and Dell 9200 (which is not avaible here yet).
but then i saw the Dell XPS :

    Amazing pictures

Problem is Dell XPS is not avaible in spain (not in rest europe )
    so my question is:

    1. Does anyone know if Dell wil lmake XPS avaible in Europe soon?
    (before christmas ?)

    2. If 1 is negative what other Laptop would equal XPS and
    avaible in Europe.

I can't buy it from usa, i need my country to sell it , since i buy laptop
on creditloan. (and i want a good laptop

    3. Would i be happy with Zd7000 compared to XPS ?

Check out alien ware's computers: www.alienware.com -- they ship to some countries in Europe so maybe they might ship to Spain, too.

Alien ware is high quality but probably more expensive than a Dell XPS.

actually alieware's best model is about the same price starting as the xps starts, and it is WAYYYYY better. 17 inch screen, geforce go6800, dual harddrives, dual optical drives, all for about 2300 US Dollars, and the xps is about there if not more expensive

Yes, it costs more to upgrade the memory, but, overall, I think most hard core gamers will tell you that the quality of an Alien Ware computer blows Dell out of the water.

As far as tech support goes... I'm probably not the person to ask. I have never, in my dozen or so years of owning a computer, used tech or customer support. I'm sort of a "kick it and it'll eventually work" type of person. Then again, I also know a few people that do tech support for a living so I can always call them! [ :D]

I heard Dell use cheap part in notebooks in Europe so it can be Alienware is better then.

But wouldn't Sager Blow out Alienware in everything?

One week ago the XPS was the fastest, but now the crown belongs to sager. The new sager DTR has 4 memory slots and 2 hard drives, along with the GF 6800. That should tide you over for a while[ :)]

    * Inspiron 8600c * 1.8ghz Pentium M * 128 MB Radeon 9600 Pro Turbo * 2x512 MB DDR2700 SDRAM * 60GB 7200RPM HDD *
