I love this computer, but I am having a horrible time with the glossy screen. I can't see anything at all when I am working at my desk.

Any help, thoughts, ideas for this? I can't work like this.

    :)

    AMITY,

Here are a couple of recommendations.

    1) Turn your brightness all the way up so you can see even if there is glare.

    2) If you are sitting at a desk, lower your chair and try and set the sreen straight upright to avoid the glare from the lights.

    3) Try and re position the laptop at your desk to maybe hide it from the lights alittle bit (like if there is a light right over your desk try and move it to where the light wouldn't directly hit the screen.

These are about the only suggestions that I have. Hope this helps.

thank you. I had difficulty finding the brightness control! frustration makes things much more difficult to understand.

That is understandable. I work in an office building and go to school so I think that the shiny screen would have been problems for me...but let me know if that works for you.
