    I have a dell studio 15 1537 2.16GHz 3GB 250GB hd at 5400 rpm and i wanted to get the seagate momentus 500gb hd at 7200 rpm 16mb cache and wanted to know if that's possible?

    Yes, any 2.5" 9mm SATA drive will work in your laptop. The 1 TB 2.5" drives will not fit as they are 12.5mm
