Any word on new Dell Precision line?

Few weeks back Dell said they should offer M4300 in coming weeks but no word since... :( Also just one Precision notebook (M4300) won't be enough to replace M65 and M90... Are they cutting one out?!

If it will take that long I'll have to go with hp 8510w instead...

Unfortunately, no one know what Dell's plans are for the Precision line of notebooks. Even given what we know about other lines, pricing is still a mystery...so the Dell Precision line is doubly mysterious :p

A week ago there was an environmental data sheet at dell's site with some specs like size and wattage for the M4300. I remember it was like 35cm wide and 26 deep, and 3.5cm thick. So probably a 15,4 (apple just released a 15,4 pro with LED display... would be great if dell seconded them). The wattage was significantly lower than the M90, so I don't the top quadro line (a 8700 or 8800 pro version) to be available for it.
What intrigues me is the mistery that surrounds this release. I hope there will be something that differentiates this laptop from the HP pro line.

Interesting... Where did you find this? I couldn’t find anything. But if the size is right it is definitely 15,4”.

LED display? It would be great, but I don’t think so! Unfortunately Dell has never been the leading company in introducing new technologies and I don’t think they will be this time. They will wait until HP and Lenovo uses LED displays and then do the same... Same goes for the built-in cameras. Who told them that cameras shouldn’t be part of their business notebooks or even mobile workstations?

I guess I can just keep on dreaming...

Google this if you want to try to find the link "Dell Precision M4300 EDS".
I agree on the built in cameras, I hope they change their mind in the following pro line.
