I have a DELL Notebook under warranty that has been back to DELL already. Problem. unable to access the internet and if I can then sent to other websites. Dell say hardware is ok it is a software issue. There is no software loaded that I know of. When I now try to do a system restore or access add/remove programs or anything else it stops me with the following message.
c;\windows\system32\rundll32.exe as well as helpctr.exe
Dell want to charge me £59 + 40p a minute on the phone.
Do any of you know how to resolve this problem or are DELL trying to make money out of some one who is a bit green?

That means there is probably an error with Windows iteself. If possible and you have a Operating system CD, I would first backup your data and then reinstall the operating system.

There is no internal drive. I am also unable to do either a previous retore or a factory re set as the notebook will not allow me to do anything. Can you help any further?

Also I am unable to perform ctrl + f11.

I am assuming your notebook is a netbook right? well I would search this forums for the download link for your OS (windows 7 I am assuming) and then use your product key on the bottom of your machine. Hope that helps.
