Hello, few days ago i purchased brand new notebook:
    Dell Inspiron 11 3158 - i3 - 8GB RAM - 240GB SSD - Windows 10 - 2 in 1
ahd there is one problem with touchpad:
1, whenever i boot up my notebook, touchpad is not responding when i'm in notebook mode.
    2. to enable my touchpad i need to go to tablet mode and then again to notebook mode..
    3. whenever i change mode there is alert in right-down corner of screen that touchpad is enabled or disabled.
    4. when i change to tablet mode alert says that touchpad is enabled and when i change to notebook mode alert says that touchpad is disabled(it should be vice versa)
    5. after second mode change, after boot up (from notebook to tablet and otherwise) this alerts is prompting wrong informations cause it says disabled on notebook mode but it works just fine.

is it about that alerts or something else?
i tried some solutions(including QuickSet) but nothing helped.
looking for any advices how to make it works!
sorry for my not so good english.

Sounds like a settings thing. I will have a peek around to see if I can find anything out for you. Yeah this place is pretty dead. hang in there.

Ok, back again. There was a similar problem with the dell 2 in 1s on windows 8. A total clean of touchpad drivers and let windows discover them again seemed to fix this issue. Hopefully that gives you some direction on this. I have my wife a 11 3000 ordered for Christmas. I get it tomorrow. I am going to set it all up for her, so I will let you know how it is!

How did it work out for you? Mine works great. I think my wife's inspiron 11 is a newer model than yours.
