    Hi,

I am a agency employee (Contractor) who work for a very large organization . I would like to know whether as a agency employee can I purchase the laptop under EPP program . I was trying to find the rules and terms in the Dell EPP site but couldn't find any ? I have a valid ID Card saying that I work for that company as a contractor/agency .

Could anyone please help me out.

    Thanks

Your company should tell you if you qualify and give you such details that you would need.

Yup...that is definitely (your) company policy that matters here. It might be only for IT purchases, it might be for all purchases. Ask.

Our company has the same arrangement with Dell. Ask IT for you EPP ID and click here. I think you can also use the drop-downs to find your company.

Caveat : The EPP prices are not always the best. Some (if not most) coupons have better value, depending on what you buy. Add to that the fact that some coupons are not compatible with EPP, you will really have to price several systems independently, with and without EPP.

    Regards,
    Paolo

    Hi,

Well I tried to do..but no one has a clue about it rules etc..

I ordered Dell 1330 laptop . It asked for the member Id , I have given it , it didn't ask whether I am an employee or employee no etc details ..I will keep my fingers crossed and see if I will get the confirmation email..

I am guessing Dell won't care as long as I enter the member id , am I correct?..

any way keep you guys posted..thanks for your response...

    thanks
    sks

FYI, Coupons can be applied to EPP purchase.

    I'm in the same position.

MY MOTTO: It is easier to ask forgiveness than to ask permission.

Right now the XPS 1530 on the EPP site has the same discount as home plus you can get a 12% discount on top of that (over $200 if fully configured). That's more than $800 in discounts. No free shipping though.

My company is part of EPP but I can't get any info on it :(

If your office or school buys a lot of Dell computers, they are likely to have some kind of agreement with Dell. Ask your Administrator/Human Resource Personnel for more details. You usually need a Member ID that you can enter at http://www.dell.com/epp/

If you are a student try: http://www.delluniversity.com/

If all else fails try this: If you are a AAA member - http://www.aaa.com/ then you could use http://www.dell.com/aaa and get the EPP discounts.

Most Americans usually have AAA membership and that would be easiest way to legally get EPP discounts.
