    Hi all,

In DELL's CP Power Manager there is an option to Disable Charging the battery. The description is the following:

"will stop your battery from charging until you dosconnect A/C or hibernate the computer"

Well, to be honest this line is a bit... cryptic to me. I havent been able to find any info about it so I would like to ask if anyone knows something about it and if activating this thing will help the battery survive a bit more.

    Tnx!

OK, I have found a bit more info about it. It actually stops the battery from getting charged when the laptop is in A/C. So the question becomes the followig, will enabling it help the battery last longer?
