So yah i am planning to order a i9200 but i am quite concerned about which screen i should get(wuxga or wxga+) although the wuxga has a better resolution many people have been having problems with it. Like its looks grainy and such.... But then again there is also different manufacturers who make the wuxga(Samsung and LG) There is some people that have the samsung like it better. and some people like the wuxga...
My question is I am planning to play games and do word processing and program on this laptop. so i would like to know which one i should get. I don't really want to buy the wuxga and then have to ship it back for the wxga+ and pay for the extra shipping. I heard that if you are going to be playing games like HL2 or CS or World of Warcraft its best to stick with the wxga.... as the wuxga is more for other stuff and not for games.
also i looked at the specs for the screens on dell website. the illumination on the wxga+ is more then the wuxga what kind of differences would this casue??
any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I'll tell you right now that I am facing having to ship this 9200 with UXGA screen back to DELL. If you are someone who has to wear reading glasses you may not like it at all. You really cannot deviate from the native resolution of 1920 x 1200 or you will either have a black border or a stetched out and washed out look at 1280 x 1024. At the high resolution of 1920 x 1200 the font is incredibly small making it a little impossible to read in Microsoft Outlook and in your browser while surfing the net. I'm sure the high resolution is great for extra space if you do a lot of multitasking, media and graphic work, etc., and if you will use this laptop for watching a lot of dvd's. Also, there is some sort of finish on the DELL UXGA that makes anything with a white or light background appear to have fine, sparkling grains of sand, especially if you have reading glasses on. The sparkly effect is that much more magnified with the glasses. It's very distracting. I had to turn the brightness down just to get by. I am not trying to bash this particular laptop. It was a Christmas gift and my hubby and I didn't realize that bigger was not going to be better in our case. Well, this is my opinion on the UXGA. Unfortunately, DELL thought they were doing us a favor by giving us this free upgrade. I certainly wouldn't have paid the extra $120 for it. I hope this helps.

WUXGA isn't for everyone, if you dont have a specific use for it (coding, etc) dont get it.
As for the grainy lines, I heard dell is shipping new screens that dont have the problem, you may want to research it more on their forums or another forum that has more people dealing with the issue.
