Hi, I was wondering If i can get laptop's image on my TV within this device.

I already have it and can't get it to work.

My video card is ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9600 PRO TURBO 128 MB.

Plase help me, or let me know if there's other way to do it.

    Thanks.

Dunno if this'll do the trick but....

OK, so you're going out of your VGA port on your laptop with the blue end, going into the TV via the S-Video (purple), or RCA (yellow)? First, is the TV set to receive the input from wherever you're plugging in? If you are in Input 2, for example, the TV is set to input 2?

Black screen so far? Have you toggled the VGA output on your laptop? Should be Fn+F3, or whichever button has a picture of a screen/screen (sometimes it will say LCD/Screen, or some variant thereof). You may need to press this a couple times to get the image to output to the TV.

Can't think of anything else at the moment, but good luck getting it to work.

    Hi, thanks for answering.

Yeah, what I just get is a BLACK screen in the tv, I'm connecting it thru the RCA.

And my laptop has a CRT/LCD button, it is in the F8, and when I press FN + F8 couple of times nothing happens, as far as I know my laptop's display should turn off and the image be in the TV, but that didn't work either...

Any other idea about what could it be?

    Thanks.

Here you can see what I bought.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8801138869

"Please, check your PC & Video Card manual or manufacturer to make sure that your VGA card has TV-Out function capability through the VGA connector to ensure this cable will work for you!"

    How do I know that?

    Thanks.

I too have this same device and can not get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I bought the MLB.tv package to watch games and I don't quite feel like watching 3 hour games on my laptop.
