    Hi guys,

    Hope you can help.
My girlfriend recently purchased (6weeks ago) a new dell 1545 from pc world, since she has had it, it has been playing up.tried to get a replacement one but its out of the 28days that pc world allocate, and seeing as though its dissertation time, its not possible to give it over for repairs.
The problem is it keeps crashing, the cursor goes sort of fuzzy with a few dashes of colours next to it and you can click on anything, then hold the off swith and wait a while before it turns on again. It happens whilst on the internet but also whilst word processing. It has the latest KIS and she hasnt really installed anything bar office etc. Is there anything i can do, i am relatively compatent, but generally need a good step-by-step guide. is this an overheating problem?or bios?or hd?or motherboard? what do you think?

    cheers
    josh
