    I have the opportunity to purchase a XPS 1530 for about $599. It's this one on BB's website
    I wanted to know if it's a good deal, for the XPS series it really is. Yet I built a 1525 with much better specs.

    T8300 (2.4GHz/800Mhz
    15.4 inch display (1440x900)
    2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz
    160GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)
    All for $820 w/ the
    Obviously the Inspiron isn't a gaming notebook, but my dad doesn't game. He needs it for buying things online, Excel files, pictures, and maybe the occasional movie.

    Which is the better bargain? *I plan on adding 4GB on both of them anyway, so the memory doesn't really matter.
