    Hello there ,

I bought my 1525 a month ago. just a few days after I got is it started showing weird problems.

there a rex X on my wireless netwrok tray though the internet is working.

I cannot restart or shutdown the computer, it's just stuck in the "logging of" screen

    i cannot enter safemode.

    the computer is very slow.

the computer get stuck sometims. i can't open simple things like task manager.

the strange thing is that this problem just come and goes!! (I know when it shows according to the red X on the wireless tray)

I also have problem with unexpected resets that i read about in this forum. (though the resets problem showed a month after i got the computer while the above problem just a few days later).

maybe the problems are related. i have no clue. what's annoying is that now the above problem doesn't show all the time so i can't try additional things to fix it. i't appeared last saturday for couple of hours and disapeared.

though the reset problem now seems constant.

what can I do ? anyone had those problems ?

Have you tried restoring your operating system or a clean install perhaps? By your description, sounds like you have software problems, most probably spyware or virus. If you haven't tried what I mentioned above, you should and see if the problem goes away.

    yes I did.

    I first installed vista business.

then did a full format and installed home primium and the problem got back.

I have AVAST anti-virus and did full scan. the problem is no virus

    other suggestions ?
