    Hello,

OK i have two operating system vista basic 32BIT & 32BIT SP1. Every-time install vista & get to the home-screen then I insert Drivers & utilities in. It say Window xp or no Application. and i have Vista. I reboot or reinstall my 3 yeas ago and everything worked. Now try to reboot or reinstall vista & Drivers & utilities only two Drivers & utilities only gets install. I know you are suppose to go in order & i do go in order. Like DSS or NSS first I try to install one of them it said error. I can't install the Network Interface Card to access the internet to go to dell website to download the Drivers & utilities off there website said error.

I real real need some help. my warranty ended. I would be very thanked for your help. I have every cd that came with my computer & after installing vista at my homepage I have is recycle can & at the bottom right corner I have time no internet computer with x on both screens ,battery life, and something else I don't know what it is .

I know this is alot of info.

PS. I will check my question and email 24/7 & the other cds that came with my computer- Drivers & utilities for webcam manager, Drivers & utilities Computer software is the one IM having problems with- Application cyberlink powerdvd 5.5 software- Roxio creator DE 10.1- MIcrosoft works 9. I also cant access the important drivers to save on other cd.

I can't access the internet after installing vista. How can I access DEll driver i burned & DEll want to use your internet to verify the before install all the drives? So what do I do know?

When I tried to download from drivers cds that came with my computer said error " This computer does not support this operating system" for Video Adapter & audio Adapter. Chipset is already install.

PS2. the first time i reboot my computer had a recycle can and four icons at the right bottom & the screen was bury or fuzzy but dell support told me it would clear after installing all the drivers & utilities and it did clear I was able to install all the drivers and utilities. Now after reinstall vista when it can whee to install vista D.diver or C.dive my c.drive say free-space 288gb & capacity say 300gb. I thought when you reinstall vista it clears your hard-drive?

Thank you so very mush for reading my question. :D

Use someone else's computer and go to support.dell.com and download the appropriate drivers. Copy the drivers onto a USB stick that you can use to plug into your laptop.

You need to go to support.dell.com and choose "Drivers and Downloads."

You can then punch in your Service Tag number (on the bottom of your laptop). It shows all the drivers for your model. You can narrow down the list by choosing your O/S from the drop down menu.

Download all the drivers on another computer, save it to a USB drive or a burnable CD and then install it in the order below.

Here is the correct install order (use as reference, skip parts that dont apply)

Thanks but every-time I used the usb or my cd i burned from dell it keep say needs internet to verify download. I don't have internet because i can't install the internet drivers.

How I do truly reboot my compute because reinstalling vista isn't the same as rebooting.

Because when i first reboot or reformatted my computer 2 year ago the screen was the screen was bury & fuzzy & chipset was not install. Dell support told me it would be bury so they told me install in order & clear my screen cleared and I install all the divers in the right order every thing worked. Now i'm missing step how to reboot my computer.

Thanks you guys I fell we are getting closer to solving my problem.

I think you mean reinstall, not reboot. You need to put the vista disc in your computer, turn it on and press 'f12' at the dell boot screen (when it first turns on).

***WARNING: This will delete everything on your computer***
Walk through the setup and find the option somewhere called 'drive options' and choose to delete the partitions on your laptop. Then when you install vista, there will be nothing on the hard drive except ONLY the new installation of windows.

Buy a new laptop or bring yours to a technician. You either have a hardware issue or require someone with more knowledge to work on your laptop to resolve your issue.
