This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     hey all, I was wondering if DELL plans to implement the LightScribe DVD/CD Burners into their notebooks, such as HP offers already ( www.lightscribe.com) in their notebooks? I really would love that..

    HP owns Lightscribe technology, so the answer is a no - Dell and HP are rival companies.

    oups! too bad.. do you think I will be able to put in a devil HP lightscribe burner into my beloved anglelike Dell E1705? :)
