I want a 15.4 powerful business notebook. I like the thinkpads but i also like the Latitude series. Does anyone know of a good review for the D830 or any input as far as waiting for something new to come out or problems with it.

From everything I have read on this board and on other board the D830 is great and no problems so far -

Has anyone received a d630 or d830 with nvs 135m or 140m yet. Does the fan speed stay at "high" when used on a dock?
My d620 with nvidia on a dock used the fan all the time, and at high speed! One with the 950GMA had a rarely running fan. -

I'm very happy with my D830 so far. I've only had it a couple weeks so that's not much to go on. Still it's a solidly built machine, the key board is very nice, and I'm happy with the WSXGA+ screen. The battery life from the 6-cell battery is very good as well although I didn't opt for a dedicated graphics card.
