I just recieved my new D820 but when I tunred it on there was no picture being displayed on its screen so I hooked it up to an external moniter and I can see the picture. Is there anything I can do do find out why my computer is not displaying to its screen or do I just need to call dell.

    Thanks,

The lcd screen might not be connected to the motherboard if it's displaying on an external monitor but not to the built-in monitor.
You sould call dell to get it shipped back to them so they can fix it.

Yes, please call Dell. It could be one of many issues including a bad backlight, loss connections and much more. Don't risk anything. Call them and explain to them the situation - they should take care of you.

    Good luck.
