My D630 came with Santa Rosa T7100 CPU. I saw at Dell site a D630 selling with a T9300 CPU. The chipset is the same GM965. How can I know if the motherboards are the same? Can I put a T9300 in my note?

The only difference in the mobos available for the D630 is whether or not they have a dedicated gpu or not. The one with the integrated is different than the one with the dedicated. Other than that tho, they are exactly the same.

And yes, the Txxxx series of cpus fits in your machine with the proper BIOS.
