Okay, I'm debating between these two. I like the portability/form factor of the D630 (except for the 9-cell battery sticking out), but I like the higher resolution screen on the D830 (I like my resolution as high as I can get it).

Those differences, I think I can weigh out on my own, BUT, how do they compare in terms of battery life and screen quality (all other specs the same). For battery life, I'm particularly interested in how it'd be with integrated graphics, "acceptable" indoor brightness (subjective, I know), wireless ON, and with both a 9-cell main and a 6-cell media bay battery under "normal" usage (nothing too CPU intensive). Other configurations would be helpful as well, but, that's how I'm likely to use them most of the time.

For the screens, resolution aside, how do the they compare in quality? (Comparing highest resolutions for each if possible, as that's what I would want). Like, how's the brightness, contrast, viewing angles, color reproduction, etc.?

I'm currently leaning towards the D630, simply because it'll fit in my current notebook sleeve/bags. But depending on opinions of battery life and screen quality, it may sway my decision either way.

Thanks in advance for any help

I wanted the D830 because it has a better video card and WUXGA resolution, but I needed something more portable.
