I have had my D630 for several months I just noticed today that there are some dark spots when I look at a white screen (such as a Word page). The darkest one is about a 1/16th to 1/8th an inch in diameter and several other lighter ones that are about 1/16th. They really aren't dark at all, but it sure is visible on a white screen. How bad does it have to be for Dell to replace the screen. The spots are more annoying than anything.

You just noticed dark spots after several months? Were they always there, or did they just appear?

At any rate, spots on your screen are not normal. I'm assuming you have at least a one year parts warranty, so call them up and get it replaced. If you're not satisfied, do something about it. If you don't care, then don't do anything about it.
