Here is the deal,I got a very good offer on these two laptops.Much lesser than the market price(hence dell is the only option at the moment). Now the price I would be paying for the M2300 is about 10% more than what I would pay for the d630(processor T9300 on both,4 gb ram,120 gb (7200rpm)hardrive,dedicated graphics card,1440*900 on both,9 cell battery).Since the price diffrence aint much is it worth it to go in for the m2300 or shall i stick to the d630,its not about usage as based on my current needs i am sure the d630 is good enough but I felt having a laptop which could be good even if i have any new requirements later on might help. The d630 does have a small advantage in this case as its lighter and I presume better battery life.As these are not the most important criteria for me I could compromise if the weight diffrence between the two aint much and the battery life difference is not much either.
So since both the laptops are more or less the same except for the gpu and some bios setting if i am right what would you suggest. The xps series have been ruled out as I have return the xps 1330 I got ,the build quality was not upto my satisfaction and i did check other my friends laptops as well so there is a huge quality difference between the business range and the home consumer range.

    So tell me your recommendations.

    Thank you

Since both the specs are almost identical, I think it comes down to paying 10 percent more for the FX360 over the NVS135. I'm guessing that's around 100 dollars (since you say your price is substantially less than the offering price) which may or may not be worthwhile. I suppose if you're going to be gaming or doing any significant 3D work you should probably go for the faster GPU, but I don't think the difference in performance is that great to begin (I THINK they're both based on the same cores). That being said, I don't think battery life will vary too much between the two either.

The weight difference between the two machines isn't going to significant; I'd say it's less than half a pound; probably even less than a quarter as the chassis are identical. The major cosmetic difference is the lid.
