    D630 deal?

    If you look on Dell's website currently there is a baseline d630 for $751. Does this look like a good deal? I am considering getting this and I was wondering what the general consensus on this notebook for this price would be.

    Wow... I think that's quite a deal! You'll want more RAM though, and upgrading it yourself can be a bit of a project... see the D630 review on this site for more details on that.

    Dell is being VERY aggressive with the pricing of their Latitudes...

    wow.

    But, yes, that is an amazing deal.

    I would plan to upgrade the ram after I got it, but I like to save money. Hopefully I could just get 1 gig to start with and put it in the more accessable spot and the existing ram would be in the more difficult to reach location.

    I think that would work, as long as you order the 1gb, 1 dimm option.

    That would have been a nice deal with the 3 year warranty and everything....
