    On 6/12/07 I ordered a 630 with Discrete Graphics. It was estimated to ship on 7/14/07, but looks to have shipped today. It's nice that they beat their estimate. If it shipped from Tennessee I should have it tomorrow. Cool. I am going blind looking at this very very dim Inspiron 6000 screen.

    they put their shipping dates far out there to a) cover their asses if it takes extra long at the factory due to unforseen delays, and b) make it seem like "wow they shipped it early, dell rocks" (the experience you are having now)

    i cant wait for mine to come!!! i've been waiting too long... i'm on a old old old latitude c600 851mhz, 512mb ram. 20gb hard drive. im dying here.
