I see on the slickdeals forum there is two different threads about the Seagate Momentus 200 GB 7200 RPM hard drive for a good price. Will a D630 support that large(bios, security, etc)? I currently have the dell installed 120 GB 7200 RPM and would really like to upgrade. I removed Vista business and put XP Pro on if that matters.

Here is the link, and don't all you guys go buying them up on me is they do work :)

    200gb is no problem whatsoever.

That drive is perfectly compatible and would work just fine in your laptop.

thanks. I actualy just went ahead and ordered it after I made the post. A google search found some guy saying that he thought there was a bios update or issue to deal with, but that was the only thing that I could find, besides dell not listing it compatible with this exact model. I currently have A07 bios installed.
